These photos are examples of some of the Central Sands Region’s groundwater topics, and the photos acknowledge people who are actively working to help improve, protect, and manage our water resources. We all value our groundwater and want our communities to thrive, for people to have clean drinking water, and for providing opportunities to enjoy and recreate around our lakes, rivers, and streams in Wisconsin. Each of us can help to foster sustainable groundwater management – stay informed, participate in projects, communicate with your state legislators/local officials, and support our local farmer-led projects working on groundwater protections.
